Purpledayss Football Match – Event Policy

The Purpledayss Football Match is a community fundraising event designed to raise awareness of epilepsy and mental health, while bringing people together for a day of football, fun, and support. The event aims to promote inclusion, positivity, and understanding within the community, reflecting the values at the heart of Purpledayss.

Allocation of Funds

100% of proceeds raised from ticket sales, donations, raffles, and other fundraising activities will go directly to Purpledayss, a small business dedicated to raising awareness for epilepsy and mental health through creative projects, community events, and supportive merchandise.

Funds will be used to:

  • Support ongoing awareness campaigns and educational projects.

  • Develop and produce inclusive, awareness-themed merchandise.

  • Organise future community events that promote wellbeing and understanding.

  • Contribute to resources that provide information and support for individuals and families affected by epilepsy and mental health challenges.

All proceeds will be transparently monitored through the official GoFundMe page, ensuring clear tracking and public accountability.

Event Conduct

The Purpledayss Football Match is a family-friendly and inclusive event. All attendees, players, and volunteers are expected to act with respect, kindness, and integrity at all times.

  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Attendees are expected to listen to and respect event organisers, referees, and volunteers.

  • Alcohol, drugs, and offensive language are strictly prohibited.

  • Purpledayss reserves the right to remove anyone who does not comply with these standards to maintain a safe and positive environment for all.

Safety & Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of all participants and attendees is a top priority.

  • First Aid support will be available on-site throughout the event.

  • Safeguarding procedures are in place to ensure the safety of children, young people, and vulnerable individuals.

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  • In case of an emergency, attendees must follow the instructions of event staff, volunteers, and emergency services promptly and calmly.

Transparency & Accountability

Purpledayss is dedicated to being open and transparent about how all funds are used.

  • A full breakdown of proceeds raised and their allocation will be shared publicly following the event via the official Purpledayss social media platforms and GoFundMe page.

  • All funds will be used solely for the purposes outlined above — to advance the Purpledayss mission of spreading awareness and supporting the community.
